Way to go Martha! The Raw Food community has been doing this for years- talk about superior nutrition going right into our thirsty little cells! and btw, the pulp DOES have a use- its is wonderful in dehydrated flax crackers. Can’t wait ’til you start dehydrating now that you are into JUICING! Blissings!

Can anyone say how many times a week one should drink these green drinks to benefit health-wise?

I don’t know where you live, I assume the US, if so, you could see if there is a food co-op near you, where the organic food is always cheaper than a chain grocery store. If there is not one near you, you could look for a CSA, which is where, for example, you pay one yearly fee and get, say, a box of fruits and veggies every week during the growing season. You just don’t have much control over what you recieve, but it is a significantly cheaper way to get organics.

I juice everyday,I’ve learned to buy the fruits and veggies that are on sale when I’m in the store. That way my variety changes over a month and it does not effect the pocket so much.Another thing you can do is substitute (lets say you cant find papaya,or its cost is high),experiment with other fruits you like or just leave it out.

Yeah, I basically just started, and, being a working guy, it sometimes pinches my pennies on the nose, but yes, goodness you do feel highly energized. Matter of fact, the juice and proper diet IMO is superior to most any supplement.

I have this exact same machine. It is pretty expensive, especially if you buy all organic. I try to cut costs buy growing the spinach myself. but honestly, I feel so good from drinking this stuff taht its worth it to me.

You’re right, it would be damn expensive!

Question: if you juice everyday, with, say, all of the things that she uses here, how expensive is it?

I tried this minus the papaya (couldn’t find any) but added a carrot instead. It’s pretty good. I’ll be adding this to our juicing staple.
