We’re still using the same 1 lb. container of instant yeast we bought 6 years ago. Can’t get more cost-effective than that. Note the video leaves out the second rise. Just for fun I’m trying it the first time without the second rise. It still puffed up but not as much.

Try bread machine yeast. It is the same as instant yeast.

What are the different types of yeast? Is instant yeast the same as Active Dry yeast or is regular dry yeast?

I make bread once a week..and my wrists are KILLING me from the kneading..can you use regular yeast with this?

I’ve found that using 3/4 tsp regular dry yeast yields the same results as 1/4 tsp instant yeast. (found that out through princessdiana161, she’s great.)
