  Alton Brown has a protein bar recipe. His recipes are usually tasty.

  Hm. Go Ahead Bars appear to be more of a fruit and oatmeal thing. Here’s a recipe that looks good:

  I like homemade trail mix better. Every dried fruit you like plus every nut you like plus a little tiny amount of dark chocolate bits, mixed together.
